Good Eats @ The Black Stallion

Deciding on where to go to dinner is the biggest debate between my husband and I! This past Friday night we wanted somewhere different. We ended up at The Black Stallion at 5656 State Route 5, Vernon NY.

For Starters…..We decided to try the meatballs and long hots! Let me tell you the meatballs are great, the sauce and cheese smothered on the top…delicious! Lets talk about those longhots…oooooweeee, they were hot and my husband loved them! The meatballs had some of the flavor from the peppers and it was just the right balance of flavors!

For my dinner I ordered the Fusilli Stracciatella

Homemade fusilli pasta with chickpeas, porchetta, onions, sweet peas and Stracciatella Cheese all tossed in a marinara sauce! Delicious

My husband had the Frutti De Mare which happens to be one of their most popular dishes on their menu; especially if you are a seafood lover. Sauteed shrimp, scallops, clams and crab tossed with a plum tomato seafood sauce and served over a bed of angel hair! OMG!
